3. User Accounts

To access certain features, you must register for an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials (managed via Clerk) and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

4. User Content & Data

Ownership: You retain ownership of any transcripts or files you upload ("User Content"). We do not claim ownership of your data.
License: By uploading User Content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and process your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you (e.g., generating analysis).
AI Training: We do not use your User Content to train our internal AI models. Furthermore, we utilize paid commercial tiers of third-party AI providers (e.g., Google Cloud Vertex AI), which contractually ensure that your data is not used to train their foundation models.
Prohibited Content: You agree not to upload content that is illegal, infringing, harmful, or violates the rights of others.

5. Payments and Credits

Credit System: The Service may operate on a credit-based system or subscription model. Pricing details are available on the Site.
Refunds: All purchases are final and non-refundable unless required by law.
Changes: We reserve the right to change our pricing and credit usage rates at any time.

6. AI Disclaimers

Accuracy: The Service generates outputs using artificial intelligence. AI models can hallucinate or produce inaccurate information. We make no warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of the analyses generated.
Verification: You are solely responsible for verifying any insights, quotes, or summaries generated by the Service before relying on them.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, and branding, is the property of PaperSwift Solutions and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.

8. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PaperSwift Solutions shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits of data, arising out of your use of the Service.

For users in the EU: Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
